Logging

This context in the CLI sets the logging levels for various system components such as: arpd, asicd, bgpd, etc..

Note

Logging levels adhere to those specified in RFC 5424, section 6.2.1

Usage

FlexSwitch(config)#logging component bgpd

Settings

Context Description
logging Module name to set logging level :arpd,asicd,bfdd,bgpd,
confd,dhcpd,dhcprelayd,fMgrd,lacpd,lldpd,ndpd,
notifierd,ospfv2d,platformd,pmd,
ribd,statsd,stpd,sysmgmtd,vrrpd,vxland
level crit/err/warn/alert/emerg/
notice/info/debug/trace/off. Logging level default: info

Available Commands

Command Purpose
logging component <string> Select the component for which to configure logging.
level <string> Set the loging level for the selected component.

Commands:

FlexSwitch(config)#logging component bgpd
FlexSwitch(config-log-comp-bgpd)#level warn 
FlexSwitch(config-log-comp-bgpd)#apply
